C.A.F.E. is a non-profit organization established in 1924 and largely funded by membership fees. We represent Canadian rural fairs, urban exhibitions, agricultural societies, provincial associations, industry service providers, and affiliate associations, with a direct interest in the industry.

VIDO is a world leader in the research and development of vaccine and immunotherapeutic technologies for humans and animals. It is credited with five "world firsts" in animal vaccine research, and is expanding into human health applications. VIDO operates the VIDO Beef Technical Group, which develops resources to help beef producers enhance their operations. VIDO is a non-profit organization owned by theUniversity of Saskatchewan and operates with support from the governments of Alberta and Saskatchewan as well as Government of Canada and industry competitive grants. It collaborates extensively and provides a rich training environment.

In 1987, the University of British Columbia made a bold investment in the future by establishing Canada's first interdisciplinary biotechnology unit. Under the visionary leadership of Dr. Michael Smith, the UBC Biotechnology Laboratory was created and a gifted team of young scientists were recruited. In 2004, the Biotechnology Laboratory was renamed the Michael Smith Laboratories in honour of the founding Director.

Founded in 1990, the George Morris Centre is a Canada-wide, not-for-profit charitable organization based in Guelph, Ontario. As an independent think-tank, the Centre provides industry decision makers with critical information and analysis on issues affecting the Canadian agri-food sector. The Centre's products and services assist public and private sector clients who are adjusting to change, and those leading the change.
